Baytec's closed-head steel pails are designed, manufactured, and certified to meet DOT/49 CFR requirements for hazardous liquids. These strong and durable pails are also ideal for in-plant use. Although often considered unlined, they come with the standard Rust-Inhibitor Lining.

The 5-gallon UN-rated black tight head steel pail features a 2" NPT bung hole and cap, as well as a 3/4" NPT bung hole and cap. The 24-gauge steel construction provides the greatest level of security possible for your product.

The rust inhibitor enamel lining prevents the pail from rusting prior to being filled. It is not intended to act as a full lining, but is normally applied in thin films of 0.1-0.2 mils dry.
